2010 General Info
Tuition/Registration: - The cost for each full-time MAGC camp participant is $705 if enrolled by March1 2010. (After March 1, tuition is $755. ) This cost includes all class tuitions, evening seminars & events, overnight accomodations (during camp) and meals!
Financial Aid: Please check for assistance from your child's school, your place of work, etc. Many of your own community organizations give away a great deal of camp scholarships each summer! Financial aid through MAGC is based on need, and is only available for a limited number of applicants. Please contact Kirk Hanser as early as possible regarding availability. Merit-based scholarships - highest award $200 - will be available. Those wishing to apply for this award must fill out the scholarship form and return this along with the other required materials. Those wishing and able to make gifts to our scholarship fund (we are a not-for-profit corporation), please contact Kirk.
Sleeping and Dining Information: Meals will be prepared and served in the Dining Hall by the staff at Camp Trinity. Sleeping quarters at our camp consist of air-conditioned cabins which hold up to 8 people, and each contain a shower and restroom. Councilors/supervisors reside in each building at a ratio of AT LEAST 7:1. Each camper must provide their own sheets, blankets, pillows, towels, soap, toothpaste and other personal items.
Familes members are welcome!! With so many participants coming from out of state, many parents like to attend with their child. While the facilites at Camp Trinity do not allow for extra campers, there are many hotels in the Washington and Herman areas. During the day, all family members are welcome on campus, can purchase meals on site, and have access to all camp facilities (and yes, we mean the pool and fishing ponds!). We have limited, very low-cost "openings" for staff-parents willing to help with the dining hall duties, recreational activites and as cabin parents. Those parents/family members who can help with these duties stay on-site for only $100 during the week of camp. Please let us know if you're interested in helping out!
Medications for Participants: Those campers in need of medications must, upon arrival to camp, turn in all medications (in original containers) and "Permission To Give Medication" form to our resident medical specialist. Unless the participant's parent is present and responsible for the medication, for the safety of ALL campers NO participant may have ANY medications in their possession.
Dates & Location - The camp is being held in New Haven, MO (90 minutes outside of St. Louis) beginning Sunday afternoon, July 18, with the closing events being held the evening of Friday, July 23.
Transportation: For driving directions to Camp Trinity and other details, click here. We will be happy to help arrange transportation for those attendees coming from out of state via plane. Please contact us to discuss options from Lambert Internat'l. to New Haven.
